How bout… both lol that’s what I have. My rottie is intelligent n more vigilant compared to my GSD… my GSD though is way more intelligent n training him was a breeze. My GSD is more wary of strangers but isn’t as alert to sounds as the rottie. I think the complement each other n make a great home security system n companions.
