This chemistry video tutorial provides a basic introduction of limiting reactants. It explains how to identify the limiting reactant given the mass in grams or the quantity of each reactant in moles. It explains how to use the limiting reactant to determine the moles or mass in grams of product that can be produced in a chemical reaction. This video contains plenty of examples and stoichiometry practice problems.

This is the BEST video on the internet to learn and completely understand the limited reactant concept. Every high school and college student taking chemistry needs to view this lesson. My comment is not hyperbole! I cannot understand why only 600, 000 people viewed this video. It should be SIX Millon! Spread the word to your friends once you see how special this lesson plan is. No one makes limited reactants so easily understood as this individual does. This video is AWESOME!

Chem final tomorrow and I know that this will most definitely be a major part there. I can’t figure out how to use an ICE table for limiting reagents even if my life were on the line (which, with how much my final weights, it kind of is) and this is a true life saviour for me. Thank you

I learned more in 5 minutes than I did with my school Chemistry teacher in 1 month!

The way I screamed when I saw how easy it is to find the limiting reactant. My teachers would use very hard ways to find them and I was literally crying. (I know it's stupid lol but I was seriously struggling). You made everything so much easier. thank you!!!!

Hopefully sir you'll have all these problems on pdf just so we can avail it ready for printing <3. This is the easiest we could get in understanding the concept about Limiting Reagents

Professor Organic Chemistry Tutor, thank you for an excellent Introduction to Limiting Reactants in AP/General Chemistry. The practice problems really increase my overall understanding of this material. This is an error free video/lecture on YouTube TV with the Organic Chemistry Tutor.

I get what you did to find the limiting reactant for the moles and I understand how you used the grams to find the limiting reactant, but why didn't you convert from atoms/molecules to moles to find the limiting reactant for part a?

you explained this better in a third of a school lesson than my teacher did in several lessons

You unironically spent 1/3rd of the time it takes my teacher to explain it and make me understand 3x better than my teacher made me understand, and I'm one of the smartest kids in his class.
