I just bought my mini 2 a few days ago. This is a great tutorial but I’m trying not to watch a lot because part of the fun for me is learning on the fly. Lol. This is my first real drone, before this, I’ve only had those cheap ones from target😂

TOP TIP - Quickshots are deactivated if no SD card is present.

1:24 The Circle function is a great feature for beginners to lose their drones. My father sent the air2s 300 meters forward near the mountain and performed this function and The drone crashed and missing. Despit of the gps coordinate and drone search functions were used, the crashed drone could not be found because the crash site was too rough and the bushes and branches were thick.

💥 Some of the best info on this subject of the Mini. Clear and to the point.
Is there a way to get it to just hover in place after completing any of the modes and keep recording? I was in an empty parking lot at Stowe mountain after skiing. I did Rocket and wished it would just hover after hitting its set altitude while still keep rolling the tape so we could get in my truck then drive out of the frame 🤟🏼 And to record as it retuned to the start point in your video did you just hit the record button? It really should just keep recording until you stop it.

Newbie reminder, not all courses teach you this and I found pretty interesting to stress it again:
Rule number one of taking pictures as open category lesson teach as the video also reminds: do not take pictures in areas that have buildings, trees etc.
The modes do need space as the drone will move, automatically.
