Just straight your wrist. Curling wrist is for hook punch

Not necessarily misinformation, just misleading information. If you try to throw a straight punch, you will injure your wrists by curling them. For hooks you have to have a slight curve downward to not injure yourself, because it comes at a little more of an angle.

Slapping your fists is actually a great way to train for building speed. It's motion economy and it will narrow your effort to power ratio. Put as much weight behind it as possible by anchoring your feet and let your arms move fluidly and kinda relaxed. Get good at it and your jabs will be so quick that almost no amount of reaction time can dodge them. I've done it so much they're effortless and almost too fast to see. You can't depend on that alone in a fight tho unless you're fighting a 10 year old. Warming up with hand weights also works wonders for building speed. Overall the best boxers prioritize motion economy. It's about staying relaxed between punches so you can retain energy.

Your wrist always wants to lock on impact with a straight connection between your elbow and your wrist that way you can drive all of your power into it.

If you were to try to bench press with your wrist backwards or wrist forward you'll realize you can never loft as heavy.

Never curl your wrist. 😊

Look man, I started boxing a couple months now. Be for real, you can’t be spreading this type of information. Wrong technique, stance and definitely DO NOT curl your wrist like that.
