*Apologies for the odd audio in this video for those wearing ear pieces. Fix coming soon!

Paranoia is something many of us can experience at some point in our lives.
It isn't an abnormal experience and sometimes there is a good reason for feeling paranoid such as having a history of trauma, feeling tense and stressed, or having a negative experience that would trigger paranoia.

However, paranoia can regress into an unhealthy mindset at a difficult point in your life. Or patterns of paranoid behaviors can peak because of a genetic predisposition of paranoid personality traits and a stressor that has "encouraged" its progression.

In this video, I will discuss the characteristics of paranoid, odd, and essential personality traits and how these traits manifest in relationships.

This is fantastic. I've witnessed these things many times over the course of at least 3 decades and even washed shows in the media where seemingly, these traits are often glamorized. How you explained them and the examples given made things much clearer from what I've read about them. I had some general idea, but this "brought it all home" for me! Thank You!

Honestly, I feel like when someone has been repeatedly abused and isolates, they may become paranoid.

My immediate family have cluster a, cluster B (including aspd), and paraphilia (of the very illegal and depraved variety). The wack pack. I had a lot of grief about cutting contact but I had to realize these things disorders never change for the better. Meanwhile they all call me the crazy one. Projecting and cognitive dissonance is big with personality disorders I find.

Do you think those with CPTSD and being hyper vigilant is possibly paranoia?
