I had some queries:

Q1. I noticed that the student left the comparison midway. For instance, the "mirror descending" in "Death and the Maiden" is only mentioned in a single line. I was wondering, wont there be a need to include some context or convert it to a more significant point? Or is it ok to not emphasise and merely state a comparison?
Q2. Is it really alright if our response contains lesser textual references? Such as two in each paragraph?
Q3. How to ensure that the conclusion is not a complete repetition of the intro or the thesis?

Overall, this video has been a great help and relieved my qualms but in the end the difference in the approach to teaching and the videos we watch can raise doubts. Thank you for the video!

The student wrote in the second body paragraph that Paulina could no longer listen to the Schubert "Symphony". It is a string quartet rather than a symphony (to be more precise Schubert's 14th String Quartet "Death and the Maiden" from which the play directly borrows the tittle). Do these types of little (acceptable) mistakes penalize a lot? It is clear from the paper that the student has a deep understanding of the text, but at the same time the String Quartet is an essential motif of the play (representing Paulina's trauma). In other words, are stupid errors penalized by IB examiners? And if so, how much?

Would you say it makes sense to look at the similarities and differences in one paragraph or analyse in one paragraph per text and then look at the similarities and differences in another paragraph simultaneously
