The Lost City of Doggerland (Atlantis) - The Real Origin of Atlantis Mythology

Exploring the possibility that the prehistoric landmass known as Doggerland is the true origin of the story of Atlantis as told by Plato. Ice Age Europe and the various disasters that occurred during this time such as the Storegga Slide and the emptying of Lake Agassiz will be covered in the telling of this story.

I think it has very low probability because of very harsh climate at the doggerland during the ice age to develop a highly sophisticated civilization. The Atlantis should be somewhere at the South within Mediterranean and Black Sea.

Great idea but the clinate was too harsh.Atlantis was an Amazigh collection of kingdoms in Morocco. Michael Hubner provided a strong case for this and it matches Platos description.The Souss area was considered an island.

Here is a problem with the map above and the small insert: Atlantis is drawn in the North sea, in between Great Britain and the Netherlands and Denmark!!!

I always was of the opinion that the Atlantis stories were just that as the legend makes a great allegory for complacency in great civilizations. This video has me questioning that now. Great video, keep them coming!
