As someone who was 10-11 during the lockdown and was figuring out my identity, this is basically the perfect playlist for that. I'm currently 13 almost 14, and living my best life as an "scene" kid. Even though the music is different, the whole nostalgia vibe is there. Sitting in a car for hours trying to get out of the state, blasting music in my headphones, online school, beads on my shoelaces, bright neon colors, cowprint everything, etc.

Although 2020 is not really a great year, people were creative. Indie kid, kawaii, soft girl/boy, grunge, alt, goth, etc they all flourished from 2020-early 2022. I remember being on Instagram 24/7 seeing these aesthetics on my feed and explore page. There was not that many reels as people would post it as pictures or videos. This is so nostalgic.
