Nice intro to linux. I just heard about this a few days ago. I mentioned how I hated Windows and 2 friends suggested Linus. I thought there were only 2 options for PCs: Windows or Mac. I haven't made the conversion yet, just finding out more about this and what distro I want. But I've already made the decision to make a change for sure.

I have testet more than 20 Linux systems and find out that for normal user, Linux Mint Mate 20 is the best system over all. It has:
drivers for printers, easy to install (find spaces on disk), install Chrome and many other installations/ configurations.

I came across this video after I became aware of the restrictiveness of Windows 11 pre-release. How much Win 11 will change before its final release is uncertain, but at this point, I wouldn't put it past Microsoft to try to brick millions of computers, and force users to subscribe rather than use the product.
