i use chrome Os, Penguin, and wen i open the terminal it opens up as a virtual machine, ? is that normal ?? i used the sudo command for who ami and i didnt get password prompt ??.

Alot of the things mentioned should be already known before spinning up kali. These and much more basic commands are common in any linux distros
