Fun fact: Vince was so dedicated to make everything look as realistic as possible that he personally impregnated Anna Gunn. Briilliant, brilliant director.

*You can tell by Skyler's facial expression that this is the first time Walt has ever stood up to her like this.*

This is the moment that Walt went down to 99% Walt and 1% Heisenberg.

I like how skylar acts like his brother in law would bust him for having a blunt, even though he was literally going after the mexican cartels at this point in time

First time Walt showed any kind of balls towards Skylar. I think she liked it.

TBH this is the exact moment skyler decided to break into Jesse's house later that day to tell him shes "Skyler White Yo, Walter Whites wife, Yo."

I like how this is only the 2nd episode, and there's already so much tension. This show got me hooked so quickly

“I’d appreciate it. I really would” 😂 honestly my favorite scene in season 1

I love how Walter's process always begins by awkwardly denying. And when that inevitably doesn't work, he brings the lie. But he doesn't simply lie, he SELLS his lies with more lies, like a proper manipulator would on the spot. That's when the Heisenberg that's always been within him awakens.

Skyler: Who is this Jesse Punkman? A former student? Walt: Actually, he's still a student. He's taking cooking lessons from me.

Rewatching Breaking Bad as an adult, really makes one loathe Walt. But scenes such as this remind us why we were on board with him in the first place:(

Such a great scene for the character arc of Walter White. He really is a super nice guy who puts everyone else first until he’s pushed past the breaking point. It’s so hard for nice guys to ask for space respect and privacy and boundaries. People are so used to walking all over him that when he finally asks for a little bit of respect and privacy people get all offended
