Kind of pointless for most Americans who have okay access to decent wifi. And from what I can tell “gigabit” in the UK does not mean 1000mbps for most it’s like 50mbps

Two months ago, I had 15Mbs down and 1Mbps up.
I'm recently ecstatic (thanks T-Mobile) that for the same price I now get 250Mbps down and 65Mbps up with 18ms ping times.
Gbps would be awesome, but I'm still giddy.
