As a Jamaican, we truly don’t care for celebrities like that so we call it like we see it. His behaviour and clothing was inappropriate! It took a foreign country to call him out, and not the people in America that watch him daily, accept for the soldiers of God who been speaking out.

I stopped listening to Kirk Franklin years ago. The Bible says that you will know them by their fruits. I pray that Kirk Franklin repents of his sins. His actions at the gospel concert did not surprise me at all and I want to say thank you brother Brylan for continuing to post videos. God bless you!

People defended Kirk when he wore pink lipstick and make-up around the eyes for his "I Smile" music video in May 2011. They defended him when he wore a skirt and leggings for his 2017 Grammy performance. He was even defended in July 2019 when the street preacher rebuked Kirk to his face, on the sidewalk just before a concert, for being cosy with the world at the BET Awards. These weren't enough to wake people up. It was a tank top and the same moves his been doing for the last 5 years, if not longer, that got people's blood up.
