Kingdom was written by Chandler Moore, Kirk Franklin, Jonathan Jay & Jacob Poole. It is the first single lifted from Maverick City Music’s upcoming collaboration album with Kirk Franklin entitled “Kingdom Book One” releasing June 17th, 2022.

Kingdom was recorded with the inmates at the Everglades Correctional Institution in Miami-Dade, Florida in early March of 2022. The heart behind this project is to not only expand the idea of what the Kingdom of God looks like, but to also share and spread music and a message that taps into an inspirational and unfiltered love for all people.

I was about to die from an overdose in my apartment in Miami all alone after so many different drugs…I went to grab my phone and I couldn’t even see what I pressed and out of no where YouTube started and this song played. My heart was beating out of my chest and then the room turned white and I felt at peace. My heart slowed down and I survived. Jesus Christ is real people. He saved my life.

12 years ago I was an atheist and was going though hell. I went to a bridge and was about to jump and God spoke to me and said I had one more nation. I did not know it but I accepted Jesus in my life and got married again and had a baby boy. Today he is 7 years old and I now understand what God meant when he said I had one more in me. Imagine if I had of jumped, that beautiful boy would not have made it here in this world. God is so AWESOME! I am what heaven looks like and my testimony is what it sounds like.
