In today's 2 minute garden tip, I'll teach you how to prune herbs damaged by cold for healthy new growth. These herb growing tips can also be used for rejuvenation pruning herbs during the growing season to stimulate healthy, new growth.

This video focuses on pruning parsley, pruning cilantro, and pruning dill. However, these same tips can be applied to any herbs damaged by cold. I also show you how to fertilize herbs for rapid regrowth. This method of fertilizing herbs can be used for growing parsley, growing cilantro, growing dill and almost every other herb throughout the season.

That makes sense a to why:
A) I have a problem with all 3 in the summer (very hot here).
B) Why I just saw volunteer cilantro in a cherry tomato container, even though it had snowed three weekends in a row here!

Good tips. Question: Is that thyme I saw growing in the raised bed as well? Did you just plant it, or did it go through freeze too? What sp. of thyme, do you know? I always thought of thyme as more of warm weather herb, which might be why I'm not having success with it. Thx!

I’ve never had much luck growing cilantro in N Texas, zone 8A. It doesn’t seem to like our heat and never comes back for me in the fall.
