Weather (METAR/TAF)

The app contains the latest weather information including METAR (Meteorological Aerodrome Report) for current weather and TAF (Terminal Area Forecast) for forecasted weather. It also shows runway headwind and crosswind. All weather information in the app is updated in real time.

I must be dumb as the new visual weather is very confusing, reading a METAR gives a wind as thus 04003KT ... therefore from Radial 040 at 03knts. The Visualisation of this now in Navigraph shows Runway 090 at EGPH as an arrow to the right --> 2Knts and a Arrow pointing South at 2 Knts. It would have made more sense to show the Wind Direction as if you land on this Runway you will have the Wind coming from the right and pointing left down the runway or add a T or an H to the end to say T=Tailwind H=Headwind on this runway. Or am I missing something in this brand new confusing world that Navigraph created?

The METARs are definitively not real-time. Over the day I checked the METAR at different airports and the METAR's were always 50 to 70 minutes old while they refresh every 30 minutes in real life. I cross checked with METAR websites and these showed the most recent version.

How do you get that type of ground charts? I still see the normal one

The new version looks good, but it keeps wanting me to log in during my flight and then I lose my route.
