I wish it came with some sort of instruction manual because for the life of me I couldn’t figure out why I couldn’t customize the spray distances. Didn’t realize the adjustment knobs effected the opposite side of the sprinkler. This video solved the problem. However, since the item doesn’t come with detailed instructions, until today I thought mine was broken and I was ready to toss it. It now works as advertised (again, thanks to the video) and I love it!

So, I bought 6 of these sprinklers for my front yards, the first one that I bought worked pretty well and that is why I bought 5 more. But I have a serious issue with the collars. for some reason, they don't stay fixed and the sprinkler part will rotate the knobs. so I can not set the sprinkler angle (and fix it). Sometimes it works and sometimes it rotates without any changes. Would you please help me with this!!!

The knobs come with a red hand tool that makes it easy to turn. The instructions are simple. Worked fine for me, going on my second year with two daisy-chained in my front yard.

Hi I bought 6 of them, one of them used. I was very disappointed 5x.
The adjustment is pretty self explanatory and easy to follow. I ended up having to return 5 out of 6 for several reasons. Reasons from bad leakages at the heads or under the heads. During the adjustment of each one of the spray knobs they would just keep turning or strip easily. Others after adjusting them and setting them and running them for about 5 to 10 minutes I noticed that the smooth rotation turned into a skip/stop rotation. A couple of the other heads just got stuck in some position or other after 2-3 full 360 turns and then not completing their 360 rotations at all. I love the concept but they should really be made out of better materials so that the spray nozzles don't get stripped easily, if that is the case.
Orbit please redesign these to stop the leaking all over the place underneath the heads. Also the one that I was able to keep and working properly was the used one.

It's a great concept and I like the product, however, it does not give you full 360-degree coverage. Once you adjust the tabs where they hit one another it leaves 2m without watering. The adjustment and setup is a little confusing, whether to turn the knob left or right while the sprinkler is working. It's best if you adjust the coverage section by section instead of doing it all at once. Keep in mind, that you will have a 2m section not being watered. You can set the coverage where you need it most and keep in mind that section will not be watered (bummer).

I love this sprinkler so far… was super easy to setup and turn the knobs. Not sure why people have a hard time with this. The only thing I can’t figure out is how to set it to do 360° of rotation. I can’t push the two grey tabs together, there is always a gap, so there is a small section of the lawn that won’t get water. Help a brother out @orbit! Thanks!

The concept of this sprinkler is brilliant and exactly what my odd shaped front yard needs, but ive gone through 4. Yes 4. 1 stopped rotating. The left/right tabs failed on 2, leaving them spraying 360 on a single pattern, and the final one would spray different lengths on the return after it hit the tab to change directions. Lowe's did easy exchanges but this time im just taking the refund. Be cautious buying this. Will try again if/when Orbit redesigns the product. I have 6 Orbit H2O gear drives in the backyard that work great, so not user error or water pressure issues.

how do i get it to stop leaking at the inlet? I've used extra gaskets and teflon tape - no matter what i do it still floods the area under the sprinkler head.

I've bought two of these "orbit perfect pattern spinklers" & must say that your shooting yourselves in the foot not having directions on which way to turn the distance knobs.

I've retuned to my old orbit sprinklers that spray everywhere. Windows, benches, chairs & of course our concrete areas.

My purpose in purchasing your pattern sprinklers was to eliminate the over-use of water. Now I have to return to wasting water for the sake of the knob situation that I've spent much time in unsuccessfully increasing the flow.

Will not recommend that sprinkler to anyone!
