Several interviewers asking about salary in Singapore but don't ever talk about break down of expenses. Housing, savings\investments, food, transportation, etc. It is important to be able to save and invest for your future. I make between $150-$180K USD but have a Tesla paid for all in cash, 3 houses and save $35k per year in a 401k savings plan including company matching. My investments grow at a pace larger then my salary by far. If you don't save early, then you won't be able to experience real investment growth.

This got me thinking how those people who worked as blue collared worker survived.They dont even complain at all.Even you ask them, they will most probably say i got roof over my head, got food and able to make my ends meet im happy.
