Infopesa, the Peruvian music label founded by producer Alberto Maraví,was the powerhouse at the centre of the golden age of Peruvian music. Responsible for introducing Peruvian Cumbia to the world, it became a factory of hits in the 70s & 80s.
Since 2011 Maraví’s son, Juan Ricardo Maraví, has dedicated his time to revisiting and re-invigorating Peru’s most important musical catalog, with vinyl reissues that have awakened interest all around the world and also in Live Vinyl Sets titled: Infopesa Vinyl Mix, performed in countries such as : Mexico, Spain, Portugal, France and Peru.

"In this selection I wanted to showcase the diverse musical genres of Infopesa and take the listeners on a musical journey with some of the best cuts from our catalog. Know this about Infopesa. Enrique Delgado of the band Los Destellos recorded the original songs of the band Los Wemblers and brought those recordings to the band Los Mirlos. These songs were then re-recorded at Infopesa Records catapulting Los Mirlos into fame while Los Wemblers remained in obscurity. These songs were core to the golden age of Peruvian Cumbia. Remember Los Wemblers.
