This is my favorite galaxy. It seems so mysterious and grand, and I always get the sense that something there is looking out too.

This is my favorite one. Such a clean look to it. And it looks like a combination of an elliptical and spiral galaxy

Excellent, Thank You very much. The Sombrero Galaxy was already my favorite galaxy, but yerterday it became also the first object besides the moon that I have seen with my own telescope. I was amazed and quite excited when I looked it up and discovered that that thing called M104 was actually my favorite galaxy. Thank You very much for posting this.

Dr. Bauer's southern accent is super charming, wish we would hear it more often; so lovely!

These videos are produced incredibly well and are very informative. They deserve far more views than 99.9% of the other nonsense on YouTube. Thank you for them.

Every time Dr. Merrifield says "thousand kilometers per second" or "hundreds of thousands of years" I can't help but think of Eric Idle's 'Galaxy Song'. Always look on the bright side of life Professor!
Keep up the great work Brady, I think I'm subscribed to all your channels. :D

I love astronomy. I would love to go to school and work in the field, except I find that to be a terrifying prospect.

Fantastic, I love any information about M104. In my opinion M104 must be the best known galaxy. I know most would say it would be M51, However, Not every one can see it.
Thanks Deep Sky Videos.

It's like a giant wall around the galaxy. I wonder who had to pay for that...

So, is M104 a non-barred spiral galaxy, as suggested by the wikipedia article, or is it a ring galaxy like Hoag's Object? Looking at the picture of M104 in infrared, I think it's the latter.
