Better safe than sorry. Yours is the kind of wisdom that once made this country great, but which is sadly lacking in our society today. Kudos to you, sir. 😎👍

Takes less time to put on the straps then it does to pick up pipe along a mile of highway and put it back on the truck.

Thank you sir for taking care and being responsible. Impelling some driving behind you is not cool

I've never hauled pipe, but the belly wrapping is a good cheat code to keep in the back of my head

👏👏👏👏👏
In an investigation, after an accident , this saves your arse from being biten .
Each layer needs its own straps, then all of it needs to be strapped to the flat deck of the trailer .
It takes only one pipe to slide off to make an investigation .

I usually put on more than enough straps, then I put on 2 or 3 more after that.

The more straps the better I guess… it’ll be fun though when you have to arrive 30-40 minutes early to undo all of them though 😂😂😂

You didn’t wrap any of the pipe. There’s nothing to keep them from sliding forward into you cab if shit goes sideways. You’ve got plenty of down force but nothing keep them from moving forward or backwards. Not to mention that when you wrap them it closes all the gaps between the pipe and translates too less movement during travel. I’m not knocking you down or anything like that, just wondering why you didn’t wrap a single layer of the load. Yes I’m truck driver 30 yrs of experience from socket weld pipe, straight run up 42” thick wall and majority of it is heavy haul and oversized. I’m no key board warrior that doesn’t know what I’m talkin about. Keep the shiny side up and the rubber down driver. Safe travels!
