The clicking system of the cooler is horrible, it isn't clicking in as it should 😟

Tip: make sure when your putting it back on to pull the clips out after twisting them, then try clicking them in. It does NOT require a lot of force! Don’t break your clips like me!

Thanks, been making PCs since 1991, but these things are not obvious whether you turn before or after putting in etc. I usually fit better coolers and they have screws. I dislike pushing that hard against a bendy motherboard!

This video doesn't demonstrate how the pins themselves are positioned, which is crucial. Make sure that the black pins are loosly on top of the white pins. If they are too deep in, they make the white pin artificially thicker (so they "grab" the motherboard) so they'll break when forced into the holes. I broke mine by following this video naively.

Might be 4 years old, but you do know there are arrows on the cooler locks for a reason and your press the pins down diagonally opposite, never, ever like this.

For those watching this, arrows pointing away to install, then turn them in to lock.
