Didn't realise the extent of my CPTSD, to reprogram is so painful, long, hard but I believe it will be worth it. This channel has been such an amazing resource

Ohhh I'm so happy you're bringing this topic on your channel! There is a lot of need of CPTSD content on YouTube.

I was diagnosed with anxiety/depression/cptsd a few years ago. I hated the stigma of cpstd and stopped my emdr therapy shortly after (even though I was getting amazing results). After watching this, I can truly recognize that I have cptsd, and I recognize within myself that I should resume therapy to heal these wounds.

CPTSD is not about "lower" level trauma's. It's about repeated trauma. It's not a trade off between intensity and frequency.

The video I've been waiting for! At the same time I'm now more confused than ever because CPTSD really sounded like a depressed FA. Looking forward to future videos to understand it more clearly.

My ex had major trauma from the past year. We had a miscarriage, her grandparents passed away, she was in an accident that caused her to have a minor traumatic brain injury, and she got into a full time job that she did not love and in healthcare which then Covid hit and that was hard for her. She left me because she mentioned how unhappy she was with her life and needed to find light in the darkness. We were together for 6 years and she told me she felt she couldn't trust me or really anyone in her life to not make more struggles for her. She pulled away from myself and many others and its sad for me because I was just trying my best to support her throughout the year.

I hope she comes back after time and space to heal. She asked for no contact to be in a healing space. We have been apart for 4 months now. Our mutual friends told me she was planning on quitting her job, she was looking into taking a 3 month solo hike for self discovery and healing.

Thank you for making this video! I was diagnosed with BPD at 18 and now I'm 25 and was offered therapy here in the UK for C-PTSD at a trauma centre. Its been so life changing and now I'm working on getting my diagnosis changed. I've just finished with the therapy (as it was for a certain number of weeks) but have been having conversations about my fear-based symptoms. I needed this video!

Thank you for your content. For those who enjoy reading, I also strongly recommend “The Body Keeps the Score” for an historical overview of individual and society’s perception of and response to trauma as well as an overview of past and current trauma treatments. It does NOT offer a road map or support group for trauma treatment or personal behavior change.

I'd definitely pick a different word other than "low level". I appreciate your video though, thank you!

One of the few people talking about this... Hopefully in the future you share the similarities between c-ptsd and bpd and npd 😲

It’s very hard to know if it’s CPTSD or other possible disorders especially if you know you have most of the symptoms described in this video but have other diagnosis too. I think you can often have more than one of these disorders x
