It cost me $4 to meet the love of my life. I asked her how much she wanted for gas, she said $4.

I met the love of my life at work. We both got paid to meet. That was 45 years ago. She's still my best friend.

My daughter came to me at 18 and asked would I help her with college. I said on one condition
No student loans. She agreed. Now she has a masters and no student loans.

Why is someone giving her 175k in student loans? Whoever gave her the loan should be on the hook. Federal government stop insuring these loans and the price of college will come down.

She wasn't looking for love of her life. She was looking for money of her life.

I share a wall with my neighbor. I heard him fall down his stairs. I went to check on him. We've been together for 3.8 years of bliss🧡Side not, I was 3 weeks away from listing my condo😊

It’s hard to have sympathy sometimes. $175, 000 to become a teacher? My wife wanted to return to school as an adult to pursue teaching. Through various in person and online programs she earned her associates, bachelors, and masters and spent $35, 000 for everything (tuition, fees, books, etc). She got student loans for 25, 000, and so far in the first six months of teaching we have paid off $8000 of those loans with the rest to be done in the next year and a half.

She might’ve been able to get some of the scholarship $ she was supposedly told she would get if she’d have looked into transferring. Telling someone there at the school that I can’t stay here if I don’t get some sort of scholarship because of the costs and the ASTONOMIC amounts of loans she was racking up. Maybe not but she won’t ever know because she didn’t try. I know that’s easier said than done. It just sounds like she did what she wanted to based on unsubstantiated statements and didn’t care at ALL till the loans came due! Not quitting can be an asset as much as a debilitation! Now that the loans are due & gaining interest by the day she needs to put that WONT QUIT attitude into paying them off! Not quitting when it comes to sport that has very little potential to pay $ in any way in the future at this point seems like a waste of determination, time, and energy! I understand the value sports can provide to a person mentally, physically, and in developing character but this doesn’t seem like the case here.
