We look around and see innumerable things and to each we give a separate name. But most things are composites, made up of smaller, more fundamental things. So digging down to bedrock reality, what are the fewest numbers of independent things? Particles, forces, fields in the physical world? Anything mental? Anything spiritual?

The scientific materialistic approach struggles with an interview like this one. In the end the only truth is we do not really know, and the elephant in the room is how much hope we have in getting answer after we die or not: either because there is nothing (this does not seem to be case based on NDE accounts) or because we live on (not physically) and “remember” or are told the answers.

Too "out there" to follow. As far as consciousness goes, unless there is an agreed upon meaning of it, it's hard to integrate into conversations. Is it just something more than being awake and doing things using only what the animal is programmed to do? Does it start with using learned experiences to determine a course of action? Does it start with pondering things that have nothing to do with just surviving? We see that some other mammals appear to have feelings. Is that a form of consciousness? Or, must it be at the level of asking where we came from?

What can we observe? an evolutioning process. Every conversation, that fuels more new thoughts and words is, nothing else than adding more information to our evolving conscious mind. We do not notice that the search for answers is a function of evolution, and that consciousness is working constantly to make sense out of all materials gathered in the meantime. Reality has many facets, because of the new discoveries in the micro world. But it all depends on the configuration of our consciousness and how much sense is put into it.
In the meantime all talks and thoughts are additional feeds for our evolutioning minds, and in the near future there will be someone who's conscious mind develop's an acceptable theory or maybe more to unanswered questions.

The physical reality, Stuff-side, Motion-Ocean, is an Illusion,

'The two legs', that Stuff-side 'walk' on,
is Heat and Cold,
the condition of All Stuff, depends of the 'combination', of Hot and Cold.
