MK8 VW Golf R - A Racing Drivers Perspective

I handed over the keys to my MK8 Golf R to a professional race car driver to see what he thinks of the car, get some speed up, and find out his top 3 tips of going fast, and enjoying track days.

Michelin transported our MK8 Golf R and GR Yaris to 'The Bend' in Adelaide so we could try out the all new motorsport park. In this video, racing driver Jason takes us for a couple of laps in the Golf R to show us around the circuit.

My top tip for a first track day. Make sure your car is prepared and ready for the track. Tires, brakes, fluids, empty the car, make sure everything is tight. You don't want to pay the money, make the trip, and end your day in the warm up session. I've seen it happen far too often.
