The music for this episode is amazing at the end, on its own it's an incredible piece of music, but it really works so perfectly for that part of the video. Mad respect.

The detailing montage was almost my favourite part. Everything looks so clean and perfect after the process!

5 minutes into owning a new car and Moog already put cable ties on it, DIY tuners around the world are so proud right now 🤣. Joking aside the car looks awesome. But Moog you said to vote around the lip kit but you only showed the front lip, it’s hard to say unless we see the kit as a whole. I think the front lip is fine but it’ll come down to if you can live with the OCD of the logo being offset 😂 I personally like the offset logo.

The moment I saw those black tips on the car and the new wheels I immediately loved this car. Absolutely perfect.

The clear film wrap is the most interesting part to me of the detailing process. The time it takes to make that look as unnoticeable as possible is wild. Car looks amazing! DO THE LIP KIT!

I can't recommend 3M PPF highly enough. I've used it on my front corner lights, the sidemarkers/indicators and of course the pop-up lights.
I've also used it on the place where I needed it the most on my car, which was the tail lights. being an 80's car with degrading plastics and bad UV rot, I needed something to protect the lenses from being any worse, which is where the PPF (and specifically 3M) came into the picture. after sanding them down with 1500 wet/dry and washing them, they got PPF coated and look fresher than when they left the showroom. it's also UV resistant, self-healing (some kind of black magic in that) and was piss-easy to apply. great episode Moog.

That B-roll footage, the editing, and the amazing work by the guys at Sydney Premium Detailing made for some of the best looking car content I have ever seen on YouTube. I am in absolute awe of how amazing the car has ended up looking. Massive props to those guys and what a homage to them through this video. They couldn't have asked for a better commercial.

When I first started watching MCM 10+ years ago I was broke and sad driving my Civic Hybrid with its poop CVT. A decade and a Ford Focus later, I put my name down on a Golf R shortly before it came to Australia (I live in Canada) and picked it up two weeks ago. This also was the first time I ever bought a new car --due to the whole being broke thing. I definitely must've been influenced by MCM to end up going for such a specimen of a car and am stoked to follow Moog on his journey modifying his Mk8.

I've had a few sporty Golfs in my time but have to say this looks great.
What I also like about your videos is how inclusive you are when it comes to society's less fortunate.
Nothing says tolerance, consideration and a willingness to help, more than letting a guy from Yorkshire work on your car.

Lol you guys made me trade in my 2019 STI and buy a 2019 Golf R, now I have a 2021 STI and you're making me want to trade it in for a 2022 Golf R thanks a lot MCM!

I generally follow the "less is more" philosophy, but I vote yes for the front air splitter. Adds an aggressive look and really complements the wheels. (Also prefer the badge offset vs centered.)

my dad just bought one a few weeks ago. I drove it once and put in an order for a GTI. It's truly still a drivers car.

I reckon the lip kit is good. Looks meaner with it, cleaner without. Depends on what style you want, it's your car after all. Sick vid as always, happy you're so happy with the car, mate 🤙🏻

I'm a yes for the lip kit. Personally, I would have gone for the TRC lowline kit but it definitely looks better with one on.
