How to complete a Sepsis eAssessment on Nervecentre

All patients with a Red Flag for Sepsis require a Sepsis eAssessment completing on Nervecente, within a timely manner. This is our documentation to show we have recognised a patient to have Red Flag Sepsis and that we have treated them with the Sepsis Six in a timely manner. Treating patients in a timely manner reduces their mortality rate and in turn, could save their life.

Sepsis eAssessments can be completed on all devices that run Nervecentre, including PCs, iPads and iPods.

Please can we ensure we are changing the times on the eAssessment to the time the action was completed, e.g. the time in which antibiotics were administered? This is to prevent inaccurate timings being submitted, as the system automatically generates the time that the assessment was completed and this can be sometime after the Sepsis Six was given to the patient.
