“Extra” has an exclusive sneak peek at “90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days.” In the clip, Niles asks Matilda about the wedding ceremony, and she explains how many people are coming and how big of a deal the process is in her culture. Niles still wants to postpone the wedding until the next time he visits, but he feels things are “past the point of snowballing” and “turning into an avalanche”! “90 Day Fiancé: Before 90 Days” airs Sundays at 8/7c on TLC.

They have been dating for three years. There is nothing wrong with a women expecting to be married after she is proposed to. The villainization of Matilda is abhorrent.

If you don't understand African culture, don't insult her, to be sincere. Africans spend a lot on money on weddings, and we don't date for like a duration of time to get married, so please it's culture

People go to other countries to get married and don't know anything about getting married there? Wild.

He asked her to marry him, totally mean of him to not have cleared this up before going there.

You shouldn't propose to someone you're not sure you want to marry. If you propose, you should be okay with a wedding ceremony the very next day.

They have been in a “relationship, ” for three years. He said he couldn’t wait he just had to propose to her 5 months prior, and she has been talking to him about the planning literally every day. He knew even before the trip they were supposed to have the ceremony. Not once did he say ANYTHING. That’s not his autism, that’s a man who doesn’t want to risk losing someone so he goes along with it until he can’t then blames it on her- anger, personality, taking advantage of him, , not being able to read his mind, whatever makes her feel guilty enough to call it off but still stay with him.

Ask someone to marry u, then freak out because she actually accepted, and organized everything 😅

200 people is an average size for a Ghanaian wedding . If he doesn’t want to get married he should tell her and stop leading her on .

Warms my heart to see this Ghanaian woman featured on the show! We always see Nigeria on 90DF, so this is a nice change of scenery.

200 people is normal for African it's actually minimum 😂. Maximum can go up to 500.

Emily's mother needs to see that he has to pay the bride price. It is not selling your daughter. I don't know why people marry others outside their culture and then don't learn about their partner's culture. African weddings are big. He should have done his research or asked her ahead of time how big will the wedding be.

Niles and Matilda are EASILY becoming my favorite 90 day couple of all time.

He should have told her the wedding is postponed before he went there. It sounds like a lot of planning and preparation has already happened and now it’s too late. Matilda has been upfront with him this whole time about getting married when he arrives, now he has cold feet.
