I think Matilda and Niles are adorable together. I love their sense of humor and chemistry. I do think she genuinely has feelings for him and love how to treat each other. I also don’t think there is anything wrong with wanting a better life and more opportunities. You saw where she lives. She seems she is a hard worker. She is nothing like Jasmine or a lot of the other cast members.

Rayne must thank God that Chidi's sister is so calm, cool, and collected and loves her brother. I would not be so calm with some woman pointing her finger in my brother's face and disrespecting him, and disrespecting me, trying to start a fight with me from nothing. Rayne seems like the kind of woman who can abuse a disable person instead of caring for them, and I think that is Chidi's family's concern. If she can behave like this and they are engaged, what can she do when he is alone and isolated in the US?. This woman is another Angela and TLC needs to do something before this abuse gets out of hand like with Michael but worse because he is disabled. As my parents' oldest of 6 kids combined, Rayne would be seeing flames in my house with that behaviour.

i don't think y'all understand how important marriage and even a proposal is in african culture. if a guy proposes typically the wedding (multiple weddings: traditional, court and church not to count the celebrations in between) happens within a year. we dont waste time and take it extremely seriously. once a proposal is made the family and everyone is on your neck to do the proper thing i.e get married and start pushing babies 😅
