"I think something spiritual happened to him that made him lose his sight, so that we could come together. It's just adding up to like the perfect thing," she says. Why are her beliefs any stranger than a "normal" religion? As someone who was raised very Christian, I can say that it, along with all other organized religions, all of them contain a LOT of very odd beliefs and are heavy on superstitions. Your god, her god, whatever. It's all the same thing until you start taking responsibility for your own decisions.
