For people that want the short version:
1) Nothing New
2) Nothing Fun
3) Nothing Exciting

Love you Raxx, you're an absolute pillar of the arpg community but man watching these videos and hearing you content creators say "Well this looks bad.... but its totally positioning season X to be better!!" truly sounds like I'm having a conversation with an abuse victim who keeps telling me things will change.

When they emphasized how popular the Spiritborn is at 66% versus the Sorcerer at 33%, I couldn't help but facepalm. 🤦‍♂️ Of course, when the class is doing 100, 000 times more damage than any other class, people are going to play it.

My takeaway from it was the Devs were just basically saying they were going to address/tweak a few things but other than that the player base can fek off until next season.

Well, altars of Lilith, you have to get on both Normal AND Hardcore separately. So if you have done the normal but haven't done the Hardcore, that's a good way to avoid that grind a 2nd time.

Hey Raxx, great video again.

I started playing POE 3.25 after watching your beginner guide for the ice nova build. Finally understood the tip of an iceberg of POE after 3 months of playing. I've been a Diablo player for a long time since D2. My biggest frustration for D3 and D4 is the lack of progress once the character is slightly above average. I'll spend days even weeks playing but never get the gear upgrade that I'm looking for without any meaningful progression.

In POE, even I never find the upgrade myself but through the currency system I made progress after every map. Sometimes it could be just a choas orb still one tiny step closer to that piece of gear I have my eyes on in the trade market.

I will be playing POE until D4 has some fundermental changes

Considering how massive the development team is Diablo goes at glacial speed for everything! Team is so big it hinders development rather than helping. PoE makes huge changes every 3-5 months whilst still developing PoE2 (and mobile if that is still a thing) with a team that is probably still a fraction the size of Diablo's.

Two things that D4 absolutely needs

1. Better monster mechanics. Fights now all feel the same, rares only have like 5 mods, etc.
3. An 'atlas' like system for progression in the endgame. Something that isn't just pits.

If they don’t have much to share… why the campfire. I like the campfire concept for building hype and exciting, with occasional details of the behind the scenes but … your enthusiasm is radiating on this one. lol we all feel the same, great improvement but it’s time to actually expand the game. Proper endgame, the problem is not the dmg but the challenge, there is none at the endgame. And for the love of goodness, when / what is their plan for leaderboards ?!

Glad I didn't buy spiritborn. I'll wait until it's half price. Not playing this season.

I stopped caring about 10 days into the season tbh. Spiritborns were doing trillions (now it's quintillions apparently), while I'm critting for 150m victimize procs (internal cooldown added because it's too powerful). Zero point in pushing pits or trying to raise paragon beyond 200 when spiritborns can get more EXP in an hour than I can in several full days of gametime.

D4 is just the POE 2 waiting room at this point.

Still waiting for something interesting to do. The game is in the best place it's ever been, I'm more powerful than ever before, I had a new class to discover and a new campaign, yet I burned out on this season quicker than any of the previous ones. I'm fine with not being interested for an entire season, but when I last only 2 weeks there is a problem.

I don't know what's missing. D3 had less to do but each season managed to keep me engaged for much longer. I wish I knew what magic sauce D4 needs.

Played most class except barb. Trying fun builds (frozen orb conjure, chain lightning overpower, companion druid, minion necro, Dance of knives) having fun until i reached T4. Im trying to kill elites for like 2-3 mins the balance is really sad. 😢

Why aren't they talking about the masterworking issues. Please change that when you masterwork every 4 levels, you can save the last crit and keep moving forward.

I was having a blast and leveled all classes to 100 in season 5! Thought the game was finally in a good state then season 6/SB happened played for 2 weeks got a few videos out of it and now it just feels very non rewarding and incredibly boring to try and FORCE myself to play anything other than SB. :/ Real shame... BUT hopeful for season 7! Gl boys. <3

As a small indie company Blizzard is doing the right thing focusing on bug fixes and what they have now /s.

If tightening up what they already have means fixing all of the bugs and stabilizing the game then good. When they add content without fixing the bugs that have been around for months, that a shitty experience.
