Let's take the Coronation Quiche recipe and adapt it into a super tasty gin and absinthe hybrid. It's tasty by itself and even better in cocktails.

The new CTC shirts are available here:

Spirit Recipe:

Macerate 2L (0.53 gal) of spirit (aim for 55% abv) with the following botanicals for 3 hours at 55c (131 f):
7g Dried Tarragon
15g Wormwood
10g Fennel
15g Anise
20g uncrushed Juniper
10 crushed juniper
15g Coriander
10g Lemon
1.4g Angelica Root

Proof to 40% then pot distill.

Take a small amount of heads. Around 30ml (1 oz)

Then collect until the botanicals start to lose their flavor or things get a bit weird. Likely around the 55% mark.

Separate half the resulting spirit and heat it back to 50 c (120f) then macerate with the following botanicals for 5-25 min based on flavour:
4g Tarragon
6g Spinach
6g Beans
1.5g hyssup

Sieve the maceration, add it back to the reserved spirit and proof it down to 55% ABV.

Cocktail Recipe:
2 parts Coronation absinthe/gin
1.5 parts Honey syrup
1.5 parts lemon juice
white of one egg

Dry shake

Add ice and shake again. Strain into a glass, top up with soda water and garnish with angostura and a cheese crisp.

Kale Wash:

Alan's "brandy" (its the base spirit used in this gin video):

Hello, I'm from a place where the name Moonshine is literally moonshine as brewing and distilling is prohibited over here. So, there are lots and lots of unhealthy illegal product that effects the health of drinkers causing sickness and untimely deaths. Thanks to your channel I've learnt the art of brewing and distilling safely. But still i have to do it in the cover of the night(under the light of the moon😅) as it is illegal. But I'm glad and happy that I can provide some drinkers with a healthy one and all thanks to you and your channel. Wishing you good health and a happy life. Thank you very much.

What was Erin's favorite food/snack/candy as a child? You could distill it and see if she can identify it in a blind taste test.

The cocktail is absolutely a King Chuck Sour.

It smells like chlorophyll, the green pigments in plants that catalyzes photosynthesis. Alcohol is an excellent solvent at extracting organic compounds, like chlorophyll, so your solution is able to become far more deep green (more molecules of chlorophyll) in color than boiling veggies in normal water.

Made garlic wine then took it to garlic spirits 80%brought it back down with apple juice and distilled water to around 40% its like a soft drink on the palette and goes down so easy without a bad head next morning lol I owe it to your channel jessy for making it understandable with all your excellent content I had no idea how it All connected until I stumbled on one of your videos in like 2021 that made it digestible for me since I've made some great shine and it's far easier for a beginner to get results by a subscription to your work. Bless you man 💪😉

What an interesting thing! I would have thought the spinach and beans too vegetal/grassy. Going to have to give this a go👍

It's not England that's getting a new king; it's you! The whole kingdom including New Zealand.
Trying a new recipe is always great of course, no matter the flawed reason...

honestly gin and absynthe with a bit of lemon juice/lemonade and sugar is probably my favourite cocktail so idk the ingredient list just sounds like making a pure version of that cocktail

Have you thought of an end banner (bottom screen) throughout the video to appreciate your patrons? Instead of a quick video block near the end.
Then run a giveaway if one was to post a screenshot on social media ‘and share’ their name scroll. Could add a little engagement.

Love the content, the crazy laugh throughout and the addition of your lovely wife. Both of you come across as very relatable persons.

Good luck with your endeavors. Best of the world to you and your family.

Leave it to the British to make baked eggs as honor to the king LOL😊

I'm down with the "gin-synthe" title for the spirit.
For the cocktail, how about "Quiet desperation?" (ya know... since it's the English way) <-- bonus points if you get the reference!

For the Spirit how about simply "Corination"

Как жаль, что не знаю английского, а так хочется послушать и записать несколько рецептов. Сам делаю джин перегоняю на вакууме, хорошо получается.
