I was dropping off in bed when I realised I hadn’t done my yoga. So I got out of bed to do it. Can I get a high five? Loved today, so pleased I made the effort. Back to bed again now. Namaste

I’m 19 and had been taught my whole life that working out is to lose weight and change the way I look. But this practice has truly helped me become more connected to myself and my body. This has left me feeling more fulfilled then any other workout.

I lost my way and restarted at day 12, then lost a few more days so I'm back and allowing day 7 to nourish my body and remind me this is a journey. High fives to all who are doing a non-linear 30 day challenge!

Day 7 - Woke up and my abs aren't sore?? HOW! Sigh of relief seeing the title being Nourish. Did this as soon as I got up - super proud its been a week and super proud of those on this journey with me ❣

At times this practice went a little too fast for me, I don't breathe as quick as Adriene - but on the other hand: I never made it so far during the 30day challenges. SO proud of myself!

my partner and i adopted two semi-feral kittens four months ago, and i think this yoga journey has helped one of them in particular, Atlas, feel more comfortable around me - like Benji, he plants himself in a comfy spot near my yoga mat, watches me for a little bit, and then falls asleep. outside of yoga this week, he has seemed more relaxed and less jumpy when I move. so this is tending to his comfort and nourishment, too :) thanks Adriene!

Lots of tears at the end of this practice. A painful stretching in my chest, more specifically my breast cancer chest with 2 implants, scar tissue, and lymphadema in one, the stretch must have released some deep emotional pain. I am 11 years out and doing fine but it always surprises me that the emotional pain can still conjure. I am perfectly OK with this. See you tomorrow.

My puppy also joins me for yoga. He doesn’t often give me as much space as Benji does Adriene. He loved the last bit of shaking your arms and legs while on our backs. His tail starts wagging and then when we pick up the intensity he starts shaking his front paws. Best yoga moment ever.

I got distracted by my cat today and told her "You are so loved!" and immediately after Adriene goes, "You are so loved, held and seen." I started crying. How easy it can be to give love out but difficult it can be to remind yourself you are loved and held. Thank you Adriene for that gentle reminder today.

When I close my eyes, and inhale slowly, hold the breath, and exhale bit by bit, I feel transported. I did feel nourished today by this. It isn’t the physical movements that nourished me. I’m as clumsy and new to this as a baby. But it’s the breath work. When Adriene says, “Inhale and feel the love, and exhale the love” it’s like a switch goes on within me and I’m lit like a candle in the dark. Thank you.

2:55, this…this is why I do yoga 😂. Adriene singing never fails to place a smile on my face. At 21:03, anyone else feel the innocence of just… being a child again? Just me? This move made my day. No joke, I could not stop laughing. My mum came in with a weird look on her face and I looked back, let out a massive belly laugh and went ‘why not? Life’s gooood’. This practice was such a wonderful reminder to cherish the here and the now to the fullest. Well done everyone, day 7!

I've never left a comment before, but today I feel moved too... my job and my relationship seem to be ending, leaving me homeless, I'm scared and sad and depressed. For months I've dragged myself out of bed in the mornings mainly because my chickens and ducks depend on me for breakfast. But now I've started this yoga and probably for the first time in a couple of years I have a reason to get out of bed in the morning for ME. Thank you for the medicine of yoga. It's such a powerful love, and portal to self love and support. Hang in there everyone else who is struggling, we got this 💜

I can’t lie, this practice was the last thing I wanted to do today. Like Adrienne has been saying all year, showing up is the hardest part. But I’m so glad I took a moment for myself today and connected to my breath and body… I feel so much more grounded and grateful now. Shout out to everyone else who has made it this far in a challenge for the first time ever! Sending love and strength <3
