This is actually quite brutal, the fact that Kai KILLING Po was an idea the writers thought of is just insane.

I feel like parts of the fight itself here could have been used, but it totally bypasses the part in the movie where Po sacrifices himself to protect everyone. Putting himself on the line for them was kinda his final act that proved he was worthy to become Oogway's heir, and it was absolutely an important touch. I imagine that's at least part of why they changed this.

This should've been in the movie. It was more brutal and actually showed how powerful Kai is. Instead of that they just memed him and the final fight between them was kind of dissapointing.

I think the fight should had been mantained but kai didint need to kill Po, because Po's sacrifice was a cool scene, but even if its brutal, its awesome the way Po can sustain the strength of Kai, even if it was for 20 seconds..

Personally I like what they went with in the final version, having Po banish himself in order to save everyone is probably the most selfless thing he could possibly do.

Ngl they should've kept this fight scene up until the dropkick and follow it up with what alr happens in the movie where Po desperately tries to tell the pandas to run, it shows how deadly Kai can be and also makes sense on why Po looks so badly injured.

0:15 It didn't show Kai running on fours! That's what I liked about the final draft.

Jesus, This was brutal af. I completely understand why they didn't show this in the big screen because it would've been x10 darker than a fight with Shen. In my personal opinion, This movie would've been a huge success if they didn't made The Panda Village a joke and showed this scene in the movies. This movie should've aimed for Older Teens.

This is how Dreamworks should have portrayed the Beast of Vengeance as a Ferocious Spirit Warrior rather than making Kai as a joke

Context:all those deleted scenes from kung fu panda 3 were removed cause of crybabies parents being angry due to how *Dark* the 2nd movie was lol

And the 3rd movie was actually going to be more *Darker*
