This video is soooo timely. Just the other day I was craving attention from this guy (already making him my husband) but the Lord convicted me and reminded me of who I am in him. Telling me that I don't need male validation to feel important. And I carried what the Spirit said into my heart and practiced it. Today! Behold I saw him and acted right. I am glad for the Holy Spirit's guidance.

I also believe that God is changing my taste palette I’m 18. I do not want to party, drink or dress ’inappropriately‘ and I barely listen to secular music or have deleted most of it. I thank God for that. I also thank God for showing me your channel. Happy Easter, the Lord has risen ✞

Hey Deborah, I am 29 and just now beginning to remove my favorite tank tops and tube bras from my wardrobe. I am proud of you and I am grateful for how God is using you to inspire others to live a Christian lifestyle ❤

Yes! Transformation is real! I went from being a top feature act as a stripper for ten years to one of the top national federal criminal defense investigators on capital cases for twenty years to someone completely transformed in Christ for the past thirteen years...left both dark worlds to live in the light....thanking God everyday for who I am today vs the heathen person and lifestyle I used to live. Huge changes have been made and yes it is an ongoing process...a Christ! Amen!❤

I asked God to confirm to me if i did the right thing by getting rid of all my worldly clothes and accessories, and this video was it. Thank you Deborah. Thank you Jesus.

One minute in and I'm like so true! I remember the TV shows I used to be crazy about and cannot even contemplate watching them again! Shows like Real Housewives of Atlanta, Game of Thrones and filth like that. The Lord was always beckoning me though because even back then before I surrendered to Christ I remember their are shows I just refused to watch however popular. The likes of orange is the new black and shades of grey; i refused that filth from the onset, thank you Jesus! This is just one example, the Lord through the Holy Spirit has made me a COMPLETELY NEW CREATURE. JESUS IS LORD!

Dressing modesly can be tough at first. Feeling "frumpy" is REAL. But, given time, style and modesty can coexist beautifully. Chizi Duru posted a video not too long ago about her journey with modesty. It's definitely worth watching.

Still working on finding myself in Christ. I hope I'm able to get there soon enough.
PS: That leather Jacket looks good on you by the way

Sis! We are living the same life right now! I relate to everything you’ve said in this video. Thank you for the constant reminder to fix our eyes on the Lord!

This is so true and relevant even for other aspects of modesty for myself. When I started my natural hair journey I thought I needed an entire aisle of products to care for my hair, based on what I saw other women use in those YouTube videos (2014-2017) but I quickly learned that I really need what works for ME. Now my hair is happier with less and I don’t have that hunger for more hair care.

Everything you said sissss . i am also struggling with dressing modestly and my reasons are exactly the same as to why I haven't fully detached(Being bullied and attaching worth to how i dress) and worse the enemy tries to convince me that dressing inappropriately is not even that deep and that God looks only at the heart but this solidifies the conviction I've started to feel everytime i wear something too revealing .

Yo this is insane because I also looked back at past photos this week and couldn’t believe what I was wearing 😭 Sometimes I feel really tempted to wear certain things but Praise God He is merciful and gracious! 🙏🏾❤

I don't dress immodestly, but I worry about whether I am modest enough. I have a curvy body, notably the bottom half of my body. I worry about the attention that this half of me will receive and I get anxious that I am not being modest enough. I think modesty is beautiful and required both internally and externally, but now it's becoming this post that I can't seem to reach quite enough.

Whenever I drift away or feel myself drifting away from God I always never feel like myself. Everything in my life whether it’s my highs or lows is always better when I walk with God. I do my absolute best to involve God in each corner of my life and it can be hard when many around me are doing all these things and it’s very easy to feel left out. However, when I’m reading the Bible, when I pray, when I walk in Jesus’s footsteps I start to see that they are the ones missing out. And that’s so true sis, the closer you get to God the more your taste palette changes and it’s a great change and can be enlightening to acknowledge and reflect on. I’m 21 and still learning about myself but I just know that as long as I don’t lose my faith, I won’t lose myself🙏

I love this. Quiet liberating testimony. God is not in a business of experiments with ourselves. When we "give Him the chance" we are sure that He will not live us as unfinished project. ❤😊. Blessed Easters everyone. Any Easter Vlog?

Hi Deborah, thank you for today’s meeting. The thing that touched me the most was when we ask God to remove something and in reality it’s something we need to give up. WOW, this was a major eye opened statement for me and I pray for a lot of our family on this channel. I think the topic on modesty is so important. A lot of women have gotten their (myself included) validation from how we dress so it’s something we all need to work on. Side note - your makeup is beautiful today. Love the peach 🍑 color. Wishing and praying for a beautiful Easter Holiday our channel family. 🌸🌺🙏🏾🤗💛🙏🏾🐰🌼

I feel this! Especially in college where you’re introduced to so many different people it’s so easy to be influenced and go against modesty. Amazing video as always ❤God bless you Deborah❤

Last week the Lord said “I am always doing a new thing.” Then I was lead to a blog by one of my favorite preacher/prophets ever Graham Cooke:

“We’re not taking anything from the old into this new relationship. We’re doing away with that. And we’re learning that God is making all things new.

So in every situation you face, the one thing that God faces you up with all the time is what’s new for you, in this situation. There is a new way to think. There’s a new way to see this. There’s a new way to talk about it. There’s a new way to stand. There’s a new way to walk, because you’re learning to walk in newness of life. That means you face situations in a new way. You’re learning how to think about them the way that He would think about them, and see them the way that He does. So we’re being trained exclusively on how to live in the new man.”
