Tali's ability to assume he's a misunderstood genius and then using that unfounded assumption to call the judges' expertise into question is the epitome of being a delusional contestant. The only "creative genius explosion" that happened was his lentils being exploded.

Also, about Max' dish...there have been countless dishes on the show that were disappointingly bad, but that's the only one I can remember that was laughably bad (literally).

What’s your problem with Tommy?? He made a few bad dishes but he had a lot of great dishes to make up for it. Unlike a lot of these chefs, he had a great personality and brought a lot of heart to both his seasons.

Tommy def wasn’t the worst cook on the “all-stars” season, he made it through the first few weeks.

Tali was the worst out of all of them. His bizarre food choices and arrogance frustrated me and I couldn’t believe he wasn’t eliminated sooner.

You seem to often miss the meanings behind common sayings or take things somewhat literal.
One for/in the/my book(s) means an outstanding or unusual achievement such as sports records or world record books. He doesn't actually mean he wants to or was going to put her recipe in his book as that often defeats the point of being a chef with renown for your own recipes and dishes, he means it will go down in history as being one of the best sausages on the show, ever.
Which might even be bigger than what you thought.
Occasionally they do have a prize for being in a magazine or similar, but that only is offered as a reward for being the best in an elimination cook or mystery box. The only reward for a pressure test is not being sent home so even in the hypothetical that there was a prize (which there was not) she was technically the loser and was eliminated

Faruq was the worst in Season 1. He was lucky he won during that team challenge that's why he made that far. But he was really worst. She was not bad, her auditions were awesome, and also of course she's black american who'll expect she know how to cook chinese food that time.

In season 2, Alvin was not bad, someone was worse than him, it was the first guy who was sent home. Mark

Honestly, cutter wasn’t the worst in season 5 if you actually think about it, yeah he had bad dishes, but he wanted to learn and he got better

OK rough background? You'd better not mean just because she's a single mom... that's completely not cool. I know a lot of single mom's who are High class and considering how hard a Job it is to raise a kid regardless, rough is not the word mate. A little more context would've gone a long way.
