Very happy about all these trends, especially that pink is in, although for me it’s always in style! One of my favorite colors. I was so opposed to wide leg pants at first but after I watched one of your videos I decided to give them a shot. They really are flattering and make your legs look a mile long when worn over boots or even a small heel!

I love your new hairstyle. Pink looks great on you so have fun with all the choices out there. I only look good in a brownish-pink and that can be hard to find. I have decided that 2025 will be my year of purchasing much less. I'm weeding out my closet and only keeping the pieces I love and that look good on and fit properly. As I am a petite too, and brands seem to be carrying less and less of petite sizing, they may be making it easy for me to do that. Wishing you and your family a happy New Year!

Totally agree with almost all the suggestions except for the wide legs. I just can't get them to work. I think the problem comes from having a short torso. I can do straight and tapered though.

Hi Cathy, Happy New Year to you and your family!! May we all have a year filled with health, happiness, and love. I've seen these trends come and go but some remain throughout the years. My Mom dressed my in plaid as a child because it was very much in style in the 60's & 70's. My pantsuits have gone to Goodwill though I wouldn't mind finding a suit with an interesting jacket, not just the standard blazer jacket. A third layer is a way of life for me. Dear Cathy, I am a constant Cathy watcher and I would like to tell you about something new to me. I am always fighting my weight. A person on you tube suggested changing your diet every week. Think of every diet you know, weight watchers, cabbage soup diet, liquid fast, one meal a day, intermittent fasting. Etc.
I’m going to try this.
I’m not going to weight watchers, but have in the past and remember a lot. Such as 3 tacos is a weight watchers meal.

I first got on board with the wide leg pants last year with my first Spanx jumpsuit and I got hooked on how comfortable they feel and how good they look on me. I don’t have much plaid but I do have a tartan scarf in my clan pattern, so I’ll wear it a bit more while it’s cold 😊

Great content, Cathy! Thank you. I kept track as you presented these trends. 8 of the ten are so easy because they are some of my best classic choices. I am going to wear pink, plaid, white tanks layered under white camp shirts, navy & white (my 2 best neutrals), layers, bold colors, sustainable fashion (I sew for this reason), and wide leg trousers. As a retiree I am not investing time and money in a pant suit this year, but I am sewing a dress and jacket that serve the same function. Athleisure and I are never at one, so that ship will sail, on without me. ❤

Definitely on board with pink. I had a photographer tell me (I was wearing a pink skirt suit) once that pink is one of the most flattering colors to wear, and I find that to be true. So I'm glad to see that! The only thing I shy away from is the wide leg pants look. Just doesn't feel like me, though I think it looks nice on others. The navy and white is always so classy looking too. This video showcases looks that I find easy to do, they look nice, not like we're trying too hard.
