If you're looking for tips on how to hide a tummy and dress a big stomach in a flattering way, then this video is for you. I'm sharing my tried and true tips on finding flattering clothes for a big stomach. I'm including tips for wearing shapewear and for NOT wearing shapewear.

This video also includes some of the best dresses to hide a tummy as well as tops that flatter a big tummy.

I believe you can wear whatever you want, however you want. As an advocate of the body positive movement, I know it can be challenging to find clothes that make you feel and look your best. So this video is going to serve as a guide and tutorial on how to dress to flatter a bigger tummy.

One of the ways I learned how to become more body confident was to accentuate what I loved about my body and how to dress what I didn't like in a flattering way. As a kid I always had a pop belly and there were times when I hated it. I had to learn not to work against it but to work with it.

I loved that you say work with belly instead of against it. I feel I spend so much time hating getting dressed because I’m constantly trying work against my body type to make it fit what I want instead of working with it to look my most flattering.❤❤❤❤❤

As someone who's on the thicker side of things, even with weight loss, I believe I'll always have curves and some belly, this is great advice!
I've slowly learned to dress more for my shape and I'm always happy to get more ideas!

This video is why I ❤️ you. Everything you bring us is classy and truthful. My favorite thing you educated the people on is Most women of ANY size have to tailor their clothes. Ready to wear is mostly a myth.

I’m so happy to see an actual beautiful plus size women making these types of videos. I see a lot of skinny women showing how to slim the body but they aren’t reality. I can’t tell if it would look good on me bc they are not plus size so I appreciate you so much for showing us plus size women how it’s done. Thank you!!

Thank you! My 13 year old daughter was blessed with curves like you (me and my 20 year old are skeletons so it’s been super important to let my young daughter know her body is perfect and she doesn’t need to be a stick like us). I’ve been having trouble finding flattering things for her and you’ve shown me what I need to be looking for and I cannot thank you enough. Teenage years are so hard especially when most 13 year olds are quite thin so thanks for helping 🙏🙏

You hit this spot on. I'm a "seasoned" plus size woman and I often say, a good undergarment makes a real difference. I have purchased the " so called" bodycon dresses and wear them as a slip.

I have no clue why youtube decided to recommend this to me (I've never looked up fashion stuff) but this was really nice! I'm average sized woman, so I can't really use the tips myself, but I still really enjoyed listening about the topic! You have a such a nice way of speaking :)

You are so right about following influencers whose bodies resemble your own. I've been doing this for maybe a year or so and it has done SO MUCH for my confidence. I even sometimes watch folks who are bigger than I am. It really gives you a better sense of what will and will not flatter your own body. More importantly, it also normalizes not just existing in a bigger body, but looking GOOD in a bigger body. My husband and I both wear a 2X. He can walk into the regular men's section of almost any store and find his size in nearly any item. Me? I am relegated to small, plus size sections, some random racks that probably don't carry 2X, or special stores just for large women. Society punishes women for being above a certain size. It tells us we shouldn't be seen. Watching confident, beautiful, positive ladies like you has done wonders for my self-image. Thank you!

The key to wearing shapewear is to by it one to two sizes bigger than what size you wear. It will still work - you just won’t be squeezed to death or roast like a potato in summer.

That white off the shoulder top and tropical patterned pants looks absolutely stunning on you. I am not big, but since menopause I have a spare tyre around my middle, and your advice is perfect for those of us who may not be big all over but still have the flabby, floppy tummy. Menopause has a lot to answer for!! Great advice, thank you.

I have gained weight through the years and my body has completely changed, which I am completely ok with. I have had a terrible time trying to figure out what now compliments me. I will be trying on outfits and cuts that you have suggested. You are beautiful and I love your sense of style. My body is similar to yours. Thanks so much for sharing your talent!

I absolutely love your channel. I'd shaped very similar to you, and I take very seriously what you discuss here on your channel. Thank you for being such a beautiful example of how we full figured divas can and should be represented.

Thank u, Lisa. I’ve never had a real defined waist no matter my weight. Having gained a belly, these tips are excellent. I would always pick billowy tops that were pretty but the moment I’d walk by a mirror, it was shocking to see they really weren’t flattering. Same with the knit ‘A line “ dress. Zero shape 🤷🏽‍♀️. As I lose the fluff, these tips will be very helpful in selecting flattering looks to be seen! ❤
