Very helpful! It's just a shame Adobe makes such a simple process so complex. Adding an EFFECT to crop a clip?? Dial position numbers to scale?? Why not just let us grab the edge of the video and let the user drag it in or out. Default would scale the clip, Alt would crop it. Done. It's incredible that so many less powerful editors do this by default. So much faster and more intuitive.

Ok so I now know how to crop. But here is my problem. I record game footage on a 3 screen setup (5780x1080 total). And I can now crop to showing just the center. But now I need the final video to only show that part, without the blacked out cropped parts on the side. So basically I now want to reduce the final resolution of the video to 1920x1080. How do i do that?

One question though, after cropping it, is there a way to make Premiere only export what's not cropped? (What's only showing) Otherwise i just have my video surrounded by a black square representing what USED to be there?
