For those who are confused, IST stands for “Inventory Slot Transfer” to start off you need to have the amount of empty weapon slots that corresponds to the number of the slot that your arrows are in. With that in mind you need 1 empty weapon slot for the regular arrows, two empty slots for the fire arrows, 3 empty slots for the ice arrows, 4 empty slots for the shock arrows, 5 empty slots for the bomb arrows and 6 empty slots for the ancient arrows. Then equip the last bow in your inventory as he says then save your game. Then count how many key items you have which would be the champions abilities, the champion group photo, the paraglider, the Shieka slate and anything else you might have in that part of your inventory, then add the amount of empty weapon slots you have to the amount of key items, in his case he is using the glitch to get more ancient arrows meaning that he has 6 empty weapon slots, he also has 11 key items so you add those two numbers and you get 17, meaning that he has to do the inventory slot transfer glitch 17 times to get 10, 000 ancient arrows. To do the inventory slot transfer glitch you need a bunch of multi shot bows and then equip a shock arrow, equip a multi shot bow and press and hold ZR to get link to act like he’s going to shoot the shock arrow, and then open your inventory and drop the equipped bow and then while you are still in your inventory, equip another multi shot bow then exit your inventory are repeat that until you have dropped 17 bows the way I told you to. But if you don’t have that many bow slots then after you drop your last multi shot bow, grab four different items like food ingredients or other materials and hold them, it won’t show link holding these items because of the glitch but while holding them, pick up all the multi shot bows you dropped and then sell every item in the item type you picked up meaning if you picked up an apple and a hylian shroom a stamella shroom a spicy pepper then sell all of your apples, stamella shrooms, Hylian shrooms, and spicy peppers, but if you are at like 14 glitched slots then only hold three items, pick up your bows and sell the items, just do it based on how many glitched slots you need and then open inventory grab an item and drop it then pick it back up then you can repeat the process until you have the amount of glitched slots needed for your arrow type of choice. Then go to eventide island or trial of the sword, and pick up enough weapons to fill your empty slots, then reload the save you made at the beginning of all of this, but don’t open your inventory or reload the game and walk around until the game auto saves, then reload the auto save, and then you’re done. Step by step for those who doesn't understand.

1- have your weapon inventory slot empty for the number of arrow slots, for example, shock arrows are the 4° slot in the inventory, so you will have 4 slots empty

2- equip the last bow on inventory, i recomend the ancient bow, since if u never used it, you will get 12000 arrows

3- after all of this set, save your game on a hard save file

4- count your key items + 6 (there are a total of 6 arrow slots, thats why the 6.) For example, i have 9 key items so 9+6=15

5- create the number of ist slots, (in my case 15, ist means Inventory Slot Transfer) you can do it by: overloading the menu, (have atleast 5 multishot bows, equip the multishot bow, and PRESS zr to draw the bow, do not shoot, link has to only hold the bow, then press + to go to the menu, and drop the bow, then, while in the menu, equip another, and repeat the process until link has no body, only his head or similar) then, hold 4 materials, unequip the bow in the fast inventory by holding ">" then sell the materials you held, (notice you will need atleast 2 of the items so it still has a value of atleast 1 to sell it) then pick a 5th matearial and drop it, this criated 4 ist slots) i will need to do it 3 times of 4 and one of 3 to create 15 ist slots.

6-go to the trial of the sword (or eventide island, go to trial of the sword if its better of if u already completed eventide) And pick the number of weapons needed, in this case, 4 because I want shock arrows (remember this phrase: "have your weapon inventory slot empty for the number of arrow slots, for example, shock arrows are the 4° slot in the inventory, so you will have 4 slots empty"? That's why.)

7- after this, load the hard safe file, AND DONT PRESS ANYTHING! Just walk to the lost woods to get an autosave, after the autosave is made, reload the autosave, then, open your menu, if the 12000 arrows appeared for that slot of arrows (this case, shock arrows) save your game, then, after saving, close your game and reopen it, load the save file you just made, check again, then have fun!







Reminder, DONT HAVE KOROK SEEDS NOR SPIRIT ORBS, otherwise they will duplicate and create a mess, which may lead to the glitch not working

As someone who has already done inventory corruption with memory storage twice and, trust me, it is every bit as painful as you said, and looking for a way to do it with IST, I really appreciate this!

Ok i just finished this glitch and i want to point out a few things i discovered when doing this. So this does work and its hard to wrap your head around but its not that bad of a glitch to peform.

Firstly always save with your bow equipped at the start. That bow at the manual save has to be at the last slot and and has to be equipped.

Secondly for those who have finished the island challenge, the trial of the sword is the next best thing that can perform the glitch (its also the one i used). For the weapons collect it all on the first floor (idk y but mine kept messing up whenever it went to the second floor). For the 6 weapons u can collect the two brances, one shield, axe, bat and for the next weapon a bit of luck is sort of involved. Blow up the trees around it and hope u get at least a korok leaf or branch. If not sadly u got to start again. Wouldnt recommend picking up any other items just in case it messes it up.

Thirdly when making offset slots remember to quickly press zr and unequip the bow. It has to be during the animation link takes out the bow or else u be left in the weird state after u sell your items that u cannot drop them. IF this happens i do recommend u restarting the whole game (yes shutting it down and reopening it) or u can just reload the save file. The reason why reloading may not be the best is that it may duplicate other items (if u made offset slots already) which may be good for u or bad.

Fourthly if u do end up in a situation where u messed up the glitch like opening the menu after the materials have been picked just shut the game down and restart it. Seemed to work for me.

Fifthly the way i waited for an auto save is ran around something 15 times and went to a shrine. IT may be less idk i just did 15 cos i like it.

And lastly remember after u done the glitch and got one set of arrows to whatever number remember to save the game and close it. Then reopen it. This ensures that nothing messy happens after this is done.

Some notes i found that were interesting

Not sure why we need 1-6 empty weapon slots at the start cos one time trying to get the ancient arrows i got the bomb arrows cos i forgot to pick my 6th weapon.

If u dont have the DLC im not sure what to do but they may be a way by just starting up a new game and picking certain items (not sure if it will work)

For eventide, you can also drop items in the shallow water by the shore before triggering the quest, instead of scrounging for weapons

Just a small info: with Ancient Bow (highest durability), you get 12.000 arrows

To people who don’t understand, you need to see if the arrow you want to duplicate is in the slots. So for example, shock, ice, normal, ancient, and fire. This is your arrow stack. Now, you count what arrow is in what slot. For example, fire. It is in the sixth slots, so you will need six meele inventory slots empty.

Thanks for this video and also for a few comments explaining everything down here!! I just did the glitch two times in a row for regular arrows and the ancient arrows. Used an Ancient Bow and have 12000 of regular and ancient now. Both worked, yet have to try the other arrows.

I did the glitch exactly as shown in the video. Also traded all of my spirit orbs and korok seeds so I have none of them.
I have 6 key items in the last inventory tab + 6 for the arrow slots, so 12. This means I have to overload by selling 12 different items. Note that eventually after the glitch you will have all these items back, so it doesn’t matter which items you take and sell I guess.

Because I have 6+6=12 key items i had to overload 3 times.

Anyway, then i glided to Eventide Island by the shrine which is to the west on the mainland of the island (on top of the cliff). Picked up 6 weapons (used my bomb ability to kill off any enemies). As soon as I had enough weapons I reloaded the savefile I made earlier and let it make an autosave. Reload the autosave and you’re ready if done right. Save manually and restart and reload.

I also saw somebody here asking how to get the arrows on your mainsave. As you are loading the savefile from earlier you already have them on your mainsave.

Note sure wether it makes any difference but I didnt have any free bow/shield slots.

Anyway here’s a short list of my steps:

1. Equip high durability bow in the last bowslot and manually save. You can do this by dropping and picking up.
2. Overload your menu while holding ZR all the time (instead of only pulling your bow out)
3. When only Link’s head appears you can let go of ZR and pick 4 items. Close inventory, pick up bows and sell rest of items.
4. Take another item from inventory. Drop it and pick it up.
5. Repeat steps 2 - 4 until you have your amount of key items glitched.
6. Go to Eventide Island: pick up the required amount of weapons. (Eg: 1 for regular arrows, 6 for ancient)
7. Reload the manual save you made earlier and run around the get an autosave. (Do not open inventory or anything else; just run around)
8. Once autosaved, reload the autosave and your set.

Some important things:
The best bow to use is the ancient bow with a 120 durriblitlity (if you dont have the twilight bow)
When you are in eventide, make sure before reloading to UNEQUIP the weapons you picked up or the corruption wont
And the best thing is: The dur of the twilight bow is not the limit.
By using something called reverse inventory corruption it is possible to transfer the durribility from the hylian shield onto a weapon, if you than use direct inventory corruption you can transfer the duriblity from the weapon onto a bow and than you can use direct inventory corruption to give you up to 116000 arrows.

Best Chaining Method I Found:
I followed El Duende 05’s tutorial for HPE. I activated that, then did this. With HPE active, you can eat the duplicate Champion Abilities, which completely gets rid of them. So you do the first arrow type, eat duplicate abilities (and duplicate food where applicable), repeat. This is the best method o found and seemed really fast! Hope this helps anyone that’s looking for a chaining method!

If you yave extra korok seeds, how do you count those? Say I have 590 korok seeds. (I can't use them anymore because I already have maximum storage) do they only count as 1 key items, or 590?

Ok, so is it possible to chain this or do you have to redo the IST slots every time and use HPE do get rid of the duplicated champion abilities and eat the duped food? I just did this but I’m not saving because I really don’t want to have to do that, and you didn’t say anything about the duped champion abilities
