That was certainly the case for me when he rolled into the Chopped show in Carisbrook, Victoria, some 600kms from his home.
It's not a case of some flashy paint or mega dollar power plant that drags you in either. This Pontiac infused Ford Tudor is an exercise in stance and proportions done right and reaps the rewards of Michael's unwavering dedication to building a true nostalgia hot rod, while navigating the challenges served up by South Australia's road authorities.
