I had a 78 firebird. Girlfriend wrecked it. I don't have either now, but I miss the firebird.

Since moving to Tenn. people have been bringing Scotty their cars for him to review and inspect. Moving there has re-energized him to the extreme, happy new year, sir.

I haven't seen scotty this happy in years. Pontiac brings out the best in everyone. They really did build excitement.

This was my first car. My dad bought it at an auction for $1200 and couldn't drive it home because the transmission gave out. Drove that car everyday for 7.5 years and sold it for $800 to a guy who wanted to restore it for his son. I miss that car.

I bought a used 97 Firebird in 2004. It had 104, 000 miles. It now has 250, 000 miles and still runs great! The secret to making the 4l60e transmission last is to never drive in overdrive around town and service it every 30, 000 miles. They are easy to drop the pan on and put a filter in.

I picked up a trans am just like this a year ago, still got it. Best purchase I've made, perhaps ever.

The world will be ending and Scotty will be like "Do this to make your car's transmission last forever!"

I much rather watch a Scotty video anytime than to watch elections or any other type of garbage lol Scotty is the homie man I've learned a lot from him that I put to use with my cars over time.

An '89 Formula 350... fastest car I ever owned. A Vette in my garage now that is not as fast. Loved the old Firebird... no anti-slip, no anti-lock crap, just 4 wheel disks and a motor that would melt the tires if I so desired.

Hey Scotty, you answered my CVT question on one of your live streams recently and it was the final push I needed to decide on what car I wanted to purchase. Ive watched a lot of your videos as research on what my next car should be, and it led me to getting a 2018 Honda Civic w/o the turbo engine. The video where you're talking about the 2016 Honda Civic showed me what to avoid with Civics (turbo engine, 2015 and 2014 for cvt problems, 1.5 engine, etc. I just wanted to say thank you for your videos they were a huge help and still continue to be. I hope you have a happy 2021!

Nice ride! I got a '97 Trans Am, same color, same transmission, except mine's not a t-top and has a cam and valvetrain work done to it, but for 4500, that was the best money spent 4 years ago. I am really impressed of how well the owner kept up with it. Gotta love them 4th gen F-bodies! Never gonna get rid of mine ever.

We got a 95 firebird this past year. needed some work. Both mechanical and paint. Got her pretty enuf to cruise around this summer. Fun car. Didn't cost much. Looks cool, and we get compliments on it. Don't see too many on the road where I live.

Right on! I got a 92 Firebird for $1600 when I was 16. Still runs like a dream 4 years later 😎👍
