Why is so much b-roll being used in a first drive video?

I'm more of an American car buyer like the Aviator or even Genesis GV80 but this is nice. It's expensive just like all the other SUVs. Hopefully I can get a CPO Aviator for under $50k next year

Does this have a flat loading floor for the 3rd row to load cases of water with the 3rd folded down or does it still stick up making the floor too high? Is this a plug in hybrid and is there an option to drive on electric only?

Toyota needs to offer a cheaper gas only version. It would fix that absurd 3rd row hump and make this thing affordable. It's something like $10k over the previous generation.

Also heard it doesn't tow very well with the shorter wheelbase. Lots of sway.

As I recently read, new cars are for rich people. This thing (and other new cars) are absurdly priced.

I’ve been watching John for 25 years. Anyone worthy enough to be a potential successor needs to know their audience… maybe cover up those tattoos next time you’re going on TV, this is PBS afterall - not Hollywood.

The ONLY drawback or disappointment, which is totally understandable, is the loss of the rear tailgate window roll down feature. The new design just cant make that happen

I dont know about paying 60k for a v6 no matter how many turbos, dont care about the supposedly fuel savings either which has never been true in the real world.
