10 Days Camping | West Coast to Orange River

Our 10day holiday camping trip took us to some incredible places. We started off the holiday spending the first night with friends on the West Coast at Brand-se-Baai. The next day we headed through Groenrivier and made camp for the next 2 nights. For our 4th night, we camped in the Namaqua National Park at campsite Varswater - it was extremely foggy and we saw the sun for the first time for about 5min that day while it was going down. The next day we made a quick stop at Springbok for food, fuel and water as we prepared for our next few nights next to the Orange River. We made camp at Ramansdrift on night 5 and the next day we headed to the Groot Melkboom - we had some difficulty finding a camp spot here and drove further up east and found the perfect little "island" next to the river. Little did we know the water would rise during the night and we had to pack up fairly early the next morning. For night 7 and 8 we made our way to Khamkirri Resort and from here we visited the hot springs at Riemvasmaak and Augrabies Falls National Park. The next day we made our way to Nieuwoudtville where we camped at the Groenrivier Guestfarm for our last night before we headed home.
