I've been following your channel for about a month now and two and half weeks ago I decided to go get a Herm Sprenger Prong Collar for my 5 months old Blue Heeler.

I've had my dog for two months and I started puppy training with her shortly after i got her and realized that they were only teaching positive Reinforcement Training with alotttt of treats and this doesn't work at all for loose leash walking. She started getting super reactive to people and other dogs !!!

I walk my dog everyday and the pulling was getting so bad that I started getting discouraged with the puppy training.

After literally 5 minutes wearing the prong collar and 2-3 tinniest correction she was heeling beside me. After 8-10 days I just let the leash drag on the ground and she follows me without any issues.

I've been taking her to a bunch of stores and she walks like she was a therapy dog and doesn't care about people or dogs or whatever.

I put the prong collar on her for my last puppy training session and she was doing wonderfull around all the other dogs. Every other dogs in the training were barking lunching at each other and couldn't care less about their owners. Mine was super chill and quite and after 10 minutes the teacher came to me and told me to remove that prong collar right away as it wasn't allowed !! I was so mad.

One little thing i still have some issue with is reactive when she is in a car.

This is great but help for smaller dogs? I have miniature dachshunds that pull like sled dogs. Would do the prong collar but have such a hard time finding any that fit because they're so small.

My GS is 9 weeks old and doing all the bad things on leash. Is this age ok to start with a prong collar? this is my 4th GS and I've always used a prong but this is the youngest I've brought home.

It’s so unethical, slip leads are so much better had my two big labs heeling in minutes without hurting them.
