This is hardly a lick so much as it is just ascending quartal groups, which are a common staple of a lot of jazz soloing, but the examples here sound cool nonetheless!! I wrote a very similar ascending quartal line into a tune of mine called “Steel Soul” built around a series of minor eleventh chords (so there’s plenty of quartal sound baked into the harmony; especially since I usually comp with a planing clustered rootless voicing with the eleventh on the bottom, 11-7-2-3-5, so you get that quartal 11-7-3 with a couple color tones at the top). LOVE quartals and manipulating their appearances in all sorts of harmony ✨✨✨✨

If you play these licks with solid rhythm and conviction you can play over anything but for beginners try playing Amber's lick over a Dm/G7 dorian groove (lick ends on G so aim for the lick to end on the G7 chord).
