This video is focused on finding the specific or specified nth term of an arithmetic sequence or arithmetic progression given any two of its terms. This is another video in the series of math tutorial videos about sequences and series. This is usually taught in class 10 (grade 10 maths) or class 11 (grade 11 maths).
The video starts with a quick recall with examples of the following:
1) Basic concepts of arithmetic sequence or arithmetic progression
2) The nth term of an arithmetic sequence or arithmetic progression
derivation of the formula
3) Solving simultaneous examples
An example is presented at the beginning showing the detailed way of finding the specific or specified nth term of an arithmetic sequence given any two of its terms. All calculations and workings are shown in a step-by-step manner. Further, the items were answered in two different methods. It's up to the viewer which method to choose, since both methods will arrive at the same answer.
