My 2021 Toyota Highlander Hybrid Patinum AWD cruising range on a full tank is 600 miles. Truly amazing efficiency for a daily driver.

The Cross is a real value. I like CUV's like our UX, but the Cross is an attractive, affordable and durable choice.

Thanks for the unbiased info. It's so hard to get straight forward information out there! This helped a lot.

The Kia may or may not have a great reputation for reliability but they do offer a standard 10 year/100k mile warranty.

Regarding the RAV4, I’m 5’3” with shorter legs. Having the driver’s seat forward enough for my legs in the ‘22 and ‘23 RAV4 put the door window controls on the driver’s door in an awkward position for my hands to reach, having to pull my forearm back. The driver’s door controls in the ‘22 Highlander are angled upwards and positioned a bit differently, so I didn’t have this issue with it, nor with the Venza. Something you might want to pay attention to if you’re a shorter driver.

I was happy to see the Venza at number 3. Very surprised you ranked it above Lexus. I have always been a Lexus person. However, I couldn’t find any hybrid Lexus SUVs.. I found the 2023 Venza Limited, however, it is a great Segway between the two.. it offers the about the same luxury as Lexus with a Toyota price.
I tried the RAV4. I did not like the boxiness or the cheap materials but it is a great buy.
Even though you’re sacrificing on cargo space with the Venza, it is a great SUV and works for my family.
Since purchasing in February, I have had a chance to try a RX and a NX and still feel you get better value for the money with the Venza. Same options in the NX Luxury is $15k more then the Venza.

Because of your video, I bought 2022 Highlander hybrid and we absolutely love it. We have new born and we feel so safe driving her around. Also the gas mileage is something I always brag about

This video is very helpful. Thank you. I am kind of leaning towards the Rav4 but its good to know that the Corolla Cross is also a possibility.

Thanks for this. Well done, and I believe a fair ranking. Nice, but not surprising, to see all the Toyotas. Originally, we were going for the Corolla Cross, but the wait time, in our area is 2 yrs. and possibly longer. So we switched to the RAV4. Wait time for it is 12 months +? But we are ok with that as our Jetta TDI gets about 4.3/100 km. Sadly the price of diesel here now is constantly 40 cents more per litre. One of the reasons for the move to Toyota.

We love our Venza Limited. At the time we got it (Aug 21), it was a nicer interior than the NX and felt more updated. And was more affordable, got better gas mileage and was quieter. Two years on, we are still averaging around 6 - 6.3 L/100km. The size is perfect for use, it is stylish and we love the Blueprint blue colour. Just wish we could have got the tan interior.

Love your videos, always to the point . That said, I am not sure Rav4 hybrid should be the first choice, its reliable, yes, its good hybrid system, yes, but its painful to drive with very high cabin noise decibel. Engine is noisy and cabin not insulated at all . Good luck having a conversation while driving .

i would rather go with lexus RX350h, as best value !
