I love how the drum slowly turns into a radioactive detector. It honestly gives the world this sense of danger.

I love how evocative this music is. It always sets me off in imagining the world, trudging through the grimy tropical waters of Qud, the chanting of a Mechanimist behind me and something bellowing in the distance... it's a rough world, yet one that we can brave. Live and drink, friend.

4:33 I love how all the dissonant sounds get resolved for a short harmony, a quick respite.

I tried overanalyzing and interpreting the various noises throughout the track.

0:11 A band of Snapjaws communicating with each other.
0:38 Baboons in Red Rock, possibly under attack by snapjaws?
0:51 - 1:37 No idea what's making these weird moaning noises tbh.
2:36 Sounds like a goat, but most likely a goatfolk (foreshadowing). Followed by what are probably distant sounds of a Great Saltback.
2:56 A caravan of Dromad Merchants selling their goods.
3:17 More goat noises.
3:36 A distant, mechanical voice. A Mechanimist Preacher, maybe?
3:58 A Goatfolk Hornblower rallying its kin before raiding a merchant caravan.
4:16 A Slumberling doing what it does best.
4:46 Strange noises that sound like either small drums or mechanical beeping. A Naphtaali hunting party? Perhaps they play drums to emulate a Chrome Idol's beeping.
5:25 Distant industrial noises. Possibly some leftover active machinery in a ruined city.
5:43 Mechanical roaring noises. No idea what could be making them.
6:34 I can't tell if those horns are just instruments played for the track or are actually part of the world.

Thoughts? Maybe some of you have ideas that didn't come to my mind as with some of these unidentified noises.
Caves of Qud is a great game. I love how there's enough worldbuilding for me to be able to make interpretations of the various noises that might actually just be noises added for ambience's sake.
